第二届中国酒店品牌建设国际论坛于5月9、10日分别在广州花园酒店及中山大学管理学院举行。

广州远洋大富酒店作为广州市酒店业协会会员，受酒店协会的邀请，派总经理助理姬宝文先生参加了本届论坛。

本届论坛由中山大学管理学院和香港理工大学酒店及旅游业管理学院共同举办。论坛除了邀请以上两所高校的专家学者之外，还邀请了美国康奈尔大学酒店管理学院的教授和国内旅游酒店管理专家和业界代表作演讲嘉宾。

论坛就国际酒店品牌的中国战略、酒店品牌战略的基础、旅游者对品牌联盟的看法、品牌和酒店的价值、酒店及旅游业品牌管理的最新研究等作了专题演讲。

通过参加酒店品牌建设的高端论坛，可以帮助我们紧跟目前国内及国际酒店品牌建设的最新理念、战略，了解国际酒店品牌在中国的发展态势，从而帮助我们更新思想、创新思维，以更好的理念和策略来思考、建设、发展自身的酒店品牌，以期在日趋激烈的中国酒店业市场竞争中获得更为科学的可持续发展能力。

Attended the 2nd International Forum on China Hotel Brand Development

The 2nd International Forum on China Hotel Brand Development was held at Guangzhou Garden Hotel & School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University on May 9-10, 2008.

As the member of Guangzhou Hotels Association, Mr. Alex Ji, the Assistant General Manager of Guangzhou Ocean DA Fu Hotel, was invited by the Association to attend the forum.

The forum was co-organized by School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University and School of Hotel & Tourism Management, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The forum invited the well-known professors & experts of the two hosting universities and the famous experts from  the School of Hotel& Truism  Management, the Cornel University, USA, as well as the top leaders and officials of hotel and tourism management  industry to delivered the keynote speeches.

All the speakers delivered the brilliant speeches of the latest information and results of scientific research on the Strategies of international hotel brands in China, the foundation of hotel brand strategy, the viewpoints of tourists on hotel co-branding, the value of brand and hotel, the management of brand of hotel and tourism, etc..

Through attending this kind of summit forum, we can follow the latest strategies of hotel brand development in China, as well as the global, which could help us to open our mind and renew our ideas on hotel brand development, and so to develop our own hotel brand and win the position and development in the severe competitions in China in the future.
